Elegant Accessibility Lift

This beautiful wheelchair-friendly lift ensures the accessibility to all floors of this optician's shop in France. The commercial space stretches across two levels and the platform lift is large enough to take wheelchair users and people with walkers between the floors. In addition, the lift is used by staff to transport merchandise between the different levels.

Smart Lift Design for Small Spaces

Because of the constricted space, finding the right wheelchair lift solution was quite a challenge. Kalea partner Aratal Attractive Mobility chose the Kalea A4 Primo platform lift, knowing that the small footprint, low top height and reduced pit of the lift would be ideal for this French optician.

The impact on the old building is very low. Thanks to the ready-made lift shaft, the footprint of the lift is minimal.

Despite the small footprint, the lift is wheelchair-friendly. In fact, close to 70% of the footprint is passenger space.

Despite the position in the corner, the lift is easy to access, thanks to the custom-built, wheelchair-friendly ramp.

Space-saving Lift Technology

It is thanks to our screw-driven lift technology that our platform lifts are so space-efficient. The entire lift machinery is so compact that it fits inside the lift shaft, so there is no need for a separate machine room. Also, thanks to our drive system and ready-made lift shaft, our wheelchair-friendly platform lifts do not require a deep foundation. A small bottom frame is all you need, and therefore only a small lift pit (50 mm).
